India’s largest and oldest Radio Jockey training institute, the Academy of Broadcasting has collaborated with The Radio School (UK) in order to promote radio in India and provide international exposure to it’s students. In an agreement inked between it’s Founder-President and Mr. Rod Lucas of The Radio School (UK) both the parties have agreed to conduct radio related courses and advanced training sessions in India and the United Kingdom for the benefit of the students interested in a career in radio.

“This is a great moment for us as we are very sure that our students will benefit from the extensive experience of Mr. Rod Lucas who is running one of the best radio schools in Britain, besides being an honour for us to be associated with him. Rod will be our Chief Radio Training Consultant and will hold advanced radio training sessions in India,” remarked Hardeep Singh Chandpuri, the Founder-President of the Academy of Broadcasting. Today, the Academy of Broadcasting is India’s largest and oldest Radio Jockey training academy and is running some very popular radio-related courses besides being widely regarded as India’s premiere institute to train radio professionals.

"This is a unique association that shows our British Radio School will offer the highest standard of Radio Training not only in the UK, but India too. India has started a massive radio growth period with the government recently licensing thousands of new stations, and they all need fully trained presenters and producers. I'm very much looking forward to this unique collaboration." says Rod Lucas.
